Job Description

‘In-country’ People Experience teams support employee lifecycle and bringing global strategies to life in the market, ensuring viability and delivery of the global approach locally.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Tracking existing agreements and proactively driving the renewal discussions
  • First point of contact to two German Works Councils (WC), and internally within Unit4 on WC topics
  • Co-ordinating with business stakeholders on WC topics
  • Ensuring accurate meeting records
  • Ensuring the WC’s are engaged on relevant / mandatory employee lifecycle activities
  • Meeting obligations to inform WC on relevant topics
  • Working in close collaboration with the People Experience Consultant for DACH and the People Experience Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment

Additional information:

  • 100% remote work possible but you're always welcome to catch up with colleagues in the Munich office
  • We offer unlimited vacation policy
  • Headcount approx. 80 employees across two Legal Entities with two separate Works Councils
  • Part time: 20 hours per week

Qualifications

Essential;

  • University Degree with a focus on either Employment Law or Human Resources Management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of WC labor laws and regulations
  • Strong communications skills in English and German – both written and verbal.

Skills;

  • You possess good negotiation skills and you're able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, being able to articulate your position clearly and persuasively, while also being open to feedback and willing to compromise when necessary.

  • You can demonstrate resilience and you should be able to resolve disputes in a professional and constructive manner. You should be able to identify the root cause of conflicts and work collaboratively with others to find mutually beneficial solutions.
