Job Description

As a Application Support Consultant you are the first point of contact for our customers on IT and Business Application related questions for Unit4's ERP and Compensation Planning applications.

What you will do:

  • Work with customers to solve issues they are having in the applications.
  • Use remote session software such as MS Teams to investigate customer issues.
  • Investigate, process and document application problems passed to the Application Support team;
  • Will test and troubleshoot the full range of applications which includes functional operation of the each, as well as system administration and other technical areas.
  • Be pro-active in highlighting potential escalation risks with your Team Leader and co-ordinate any additional resource requirements to assist with investigations;
  • Handle customer escalations, taking ownership of complicated issues and keep customers updated of progress at all times.

The successful applicant must reside in Canada and is preferable to be located in the Eastern time zone, or possibly in the Central time zone.

Qualifications

  • Information Communication Technology (ICT) related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch (verbal and written) is an advantage.
  • Common knowledge of Microsoft technologies, workplace processes and IT infrastructure;
  • Knowledge or experience with Compensation Planning products is preferred;
  • Previous experience of working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or any related business software is an advantage;
  • Previous experience of working in a Customer Service environment is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and out of the box thinking is an advantage.
